    Reggie, congratulations on being hired to do a brochure that's awesome! The face of the little boy in front seems much better lighted than the rest of the shot, drawing my eye to his face only. Was that a result of your own lighting, or the ambient light?

    1st pics with new D40

    Here are a few of my 1st pics with the new D40 / 18-55mm kit lens.
    The dog is the only one at home that will let me that their picture
    Need to get outside with the camera & roam around.
    I love this new camera !

    With in flash (too bad her forehead is overexposed)


    With SB400 bounced

    I like it.

    I like the way the eye gets led up the slope to the moon by the slope itself and the shape of the rocks.

    Orchid

    Bought my wife a nice Orchid - for Mothers day (yes! I did buy a plant form my own Mother as well!!)
    This is taken with our bedroom wallpaper as a background colour, I used the Sigma 28 - 200 for this particular shot @145mm (217mm equiv).
