Thanks for the warning. However, it appears that I'd be better off taking another offer provided by someone else with a D200 as well. Just another example of why I am leary about some offers. And my Pelican should be here on Friday... It's supposed to be waterproof.
As another side track, I just ordered three 20x30 posters from Costco. The price is nice and hopefully my "postersized" photos come out as well--one blonde, one red head, and one brunette.
And that tank would be one very large tank if it held NOS.

Hey, what happened to the cat? Sorry, don't use Lightroom. Are you saving the photos as "Save for web"? I've read that saving that way may wipe out some of the data.

Ha, yeah, no doubt. Slamfest at the begining of the month and SEMA at the end of the month..should provide for some good material. Tampa to Vegas..

Prospero,
The church is a great shot. I feel like a broken record, I must be one of your many fans.
CC: I haven't had time to mess with HDR, but this shot reminds me of your castle/fountain shot in one respect but maybe opposite. The Chandeliers seem to be over exposed. I know that the region above and around them are darker so you are probably using a more exposed shot to define the region, but isn't there a way to select the chandelier lights from a lower exposure and superimpose them in a layer above? Maybe it would require some PP after the HDR, or maybe it could be done with the "feed" image before the HDR import.
Just trying to stretch you a little...

If I was going to "upgrade", I'd probably upgrade from CS2 to CS3 before purchasing Lightroom. CS2 may be slower but it appears to work fine for what I use it for and I don't use a lot of the features. I'm very basic in post processing--those who I know who come up with 100+ Photoshop layers don't seem to spend a lot of time taking photos.
