    Haha! No he doesn't, he is riding a wakeboard. Its much like a snowboard, where it has bindings (look like giant plastic boots) attached to the board so wherever you go, the board goes.

    Lens was a Nikkor 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR on a D50 in shutter priority mode (VR was turned on but in 'active' mode, where it allows you to pan). I can't remember the shutter speed off the top of my head, iso was 400. Yes the shot was taken from a moving boat, but luckily the water at this part of teh lake was very flat, so the movement on the boat was not too bad at all.

    That should probably make using the 70-200 VR a snap. Thanks for the info since I have yet to use my lens from a boat. However, perhaps soon since the temps are finally dropping below 100F+ every day (the lake is usually hotter).

    Yo D, I can help you with that. I'll take you out on my boat and you can take shots of my 6 year old bustin out a gnarly nose-bone. Then, we're gonna throw you in and make you wakeboard for your boat ride lol.
