Dennis, I REALLY love that shot! Have you tried cloning out those 2 brick fixtures on both sides?

I was a soccer goalie for a while so I really feel for that kid! Great shot.

He was actually very good and brave. He let in 6 goals but without him it probably would have been 12-nil.

Excellent job, Chris. Especially for your first crack at HDR! It's a beautiful photo. If I may though, it looks a tad soft. Have you applied any sharpening to it? Maybe it appears soft due to it being resized for web?

My in camera sharpness setting is set to Normal, which is very soft. I forgot to add sharpness heh. Im sure a little USM would help.

that looks fantastic ! not sure if you have ever seen the Capture NX tutorials on colour control points but i think whoever did the tutorials took their photo from the same place lol ! the image looks very very similar.

Yeah, Schwabacher landing (sp) is a very popular place for photography. Here is another shot I took for JH earlier this summer. I am trying to add text effects to some of my images, but I am getting a hard line seperating the text box and the image... does anyone know how I can make the text box gradually dissolve into the image (CS3). Thanks.

Get yourself a good WaterMark program. You can adjust the transparency/opacity of the text.
