Hmmm...St. Louis has a professional hockey team called the Blues...some what of a conflict~ isnt there regulations against city sports teams with the same names? lol

Well, I guess it would be considered a conflict in a strictly legal sense, but the Blues footy team is named after the Carlton Blues of the AFL, if I read correctly.

Besides, not much chance of confusing the two organizations - the footy team's annual budget is about what the Blues hockey organization spends on paperclips in a year...

I've always been a fan of the real Aussie football that I would watch on TV here, and I miss it now that they don't show it anymore.

What do you think of this shot? Do you think it has potential? I'd love any edits or other criticism you might have. I like it, but it seems like it's missing something ...

Its a bit flat IMO. Try adding some depth to it in photoshop or something.

Depth ... do you mean contrast? If you have the time, I'd love to see what you would do with it.

It's a nice shot, but there's nothing to draw the eye, particularly. No central focus point.

I agree with you. I was looking at the shot without reading the comments, and the shot looks nice, but it is pretty packed. Maybe have more lake added or details (depth). The sad thing about places like this is that they do look awesome, but then everything is green. Nothing is different. You have the steps in wood and the pump house or out-house, whatever that is, but the brown (wood color) is not jumping out.

Actually, if you crop the second photo out of the first, it had much better lighting. You really lost the light by the time you took this second shot.
