Now that I live in NC, the requests for the fiddle songs never end. However, that really is not my training, and I don't know the songs they keep requesting. Don't really have much interest, since us classically trained typically snub our noses to the awful techniques we see from the fiddlers.

Aw, those Cape Breton fiddlers can do some amazing things, though, no? Them and the Scots (the majority of American folk fiddlers, yeah... there are some evil things done with the bow ).

From yesterday. This is the WEROCK competition at Jellico, TN. I have shots of this buggy from a few months ago in the air as well. This guy was DEFINATELY balls-to-the-walls.
