    Rooz,
looks good, not well versed in layers to do that though. Agreed about the sand too, looks like low cloud cover.
    Tracey,
He gets those hips turned a little late sometimes but they usually square up nicely. Coach is the one I told you about, taking his older boy to the State Championship Game this coming week.

Coaches son has nice form for 8yo.

i use captureNX. it's not based on layers like CS2 or PSP. basically you convert the whole image to B/W then use a minus brush over the areas you want to remain colour. the process takes about 2-5mins.

sorry, not familiar with PSP, have never used it. would be surprised if it couldn;t be done. CS2 can do this quite easily aswell but it's too complicated for me to do. hopefully someone with that program will lend a hand and let you know how its done.

rich: another great action shot. can you post exif data with those shots pls.

    Done,
if you can gather any info from it let me know!

And a correction about lightroom, I had presets turned off. Duh!
There are several presets such as sepia available in the program.

    .
just learning in anticipation mate. personally, i like the slower shutter from the first one which maintained some motion blur in the bat.

VERY good form for an 8yo! I only have one or two with form anywhere near this... Too bad that one of them likes to close his eyes just before contact (and struggles dearly because of it) - in practice he wails them, in a game, not so much.

Won our first playoff game last night 14 - 12. Closest game of the season. It ended with a bottom of the 6th, bases loaded, 2 outs, full-count home-run.

Sorry - I know this is off topic! It was just SOOO exciting...

    First shot with D50!!

First time with my D50 and lense kit (18-55?). Came from a P&S canon SD20. I'm ok with photoshop too.
