Thanks. Boys and their toys--I own a lot of R/Cs (remote control cars, boats, helis). If you visit my website you'll also see numerous photos of full-size off-road racing which are much easier to capture than their much smaller counterparts--Check out "Henderson 400"

Photographing fast moving R/C cars are very good practice for improving one's panning technique (the onroad car record is 111mph). In addition, switching back and forth between R/C helis, planes, and jets on the fly also helps if one still wants to show motion since the blades and subjects travel at different speeds--this means shutter priority is usually necessary. And though the lighting is better toward dusk, fast moving R/Cs are more difficult to photograph unless one has a fast lens.
