Wow, TNB I like that picture alot and especially because its hand held . I sure do want that 17-55 f/2.8 though, that would be a good christmas present I think to everyone in photography.

Thanks. The lens is pricy, but most everyone probably would enjoy it. I know I would. Hopefully, it will move from "borrowed" to "owned" in my book soon. I'll also post more photos taken that same night as soon as I go through them.

I wore them to my prom, twenty one years ago. Sheesh. I was a trend setter back in the day, it was a toss up between those and the black and white vans. Chuckie T's just looked classy.

Nice picture Dave, how did you manage to get way up there?

Wife was in the hospital awaiting shoulder surgery so we were up in her pre surgery room..

I heard the life flight coming in for a landing while we were sitting there watching tv....Jumped up and grabed a few quick shots..

I have learned to have 1 camera with me at all times

A little off topic( yea I know, I do that alot ) What type of shoulder surgery? I had torn rotator cuff repair surgery back in June and was just released from DR last month, hope all goes well with your wife!

Did you go into the OR and take pics of the operation? Just kidding!
