    Ultra II or Normal SD

Hey guys, first post, plz don't flame

Anyways, today I'm off to buying my first digital camera. I'm picking up a Canon Powershot SD600 (6 MP) Anyways, I'm wondering if I should buy the normal SanDisk 1Gb memory card or the SanDisk Ultra II 1Gb memory card ?

Will I even notice the speed difference with my camera ?

I'm trying to save as much money as possible, so if I don't have to spend the extra $$$, I don't want to.

And then, how many images can I expect to pack onto that 1gigger. I've been told around ~350 pics at the super-fine highest resolution. Is this right ?

    THANX A LOT !!!

I don't think you'll notice any difference with these two cards. The SD series doesn't seem to operated fast enough to take advantage of a faster card. However, the Ultra-II cards only cost about $5 more, and the downloads to the computer will be much faster, so for that alone it's probably worthwhile.
