    Couple of pics from Halloween

These are my first pics posted. Please feel free to offer advice as lord knows I need it. Meet the Lion and the Snow Princess. Shot at ISO 1600 with a pass through noise ninja and some sharpening. 20D and 17-40L. I believe I may have oversharpened a little.

    Cute!!!

The detail you've gone to for Halloween - wow!

They look pretty clean for ISO 1600. What sharpening setting did you use?

Cute costumes! I think you over did the sharpening too. I'd like to see what they look like after noise ninja, and the before pic too. I use neatimage and am just curious as to how well noise ninja works.

Hey Christian, I used Smart Sharpen at about 75% and them USM at around 100%. Then when I resized, I ran USM again around 50%. Probably way too much. My wife is big into the holidays. You should see what she makes me do outside for Christmas.

Nick, this is the original converted from RAW to jpeg and one pass through Noise Ninja. No PP at all other that resize. I have sharpening on NN almost off as I always sharpen in Photoshop. I like noise ninja as I'm still learning and auto profiling most of time, even when I batch. I've got profiles for 20D, just haven't used them yet. The first is original and second is though NN.
