Question G7 pic from Jeff Keller "..will notice something different.." ?? What is it ??

at the G7-pic-pool provided from Jeff Keller,

there is a picture that he wrote:
"Long time readers with a sharp eye will notice something different in this shot "

well, i am not a long-time reader, so a do not figure it out

is it in the quality, the colors, or could it be that the guy is Jeff Keller him self?

    any ideas? comments? sollutions?

Damn! I was just coming to post about the mall sign!

IQ-wise, the G7 shot also seems oversaturated, but still nice.

I noticed the mall sign too! And the statue, now that you mentioned it.

Actually...I guess I cheated a little - I compared the photo with the one from the review of the Canon Powershot S3...

Oohhh...I miss my S3!! I hope I'll get it back from the service center soon. *sigh*

    I'm glad I didn't cheat, then!

I'm not sure what happened to my S3, really. When I came home from my vacation in August, I noticed something that looked like it could be a couple of dead pixels in the photos I took. I cleaned the lens as good as I could and also the UV-filter, but the "dead pixels" were still there.

At the end of September, I finally contacted the Internet store where I bought it. They sent me instructions on where to send it for service and paid the postage. On the form where I could describe the error, I also asked the service center to check if the autofocus was working normally, since I think it had problems sometimes with that. It's been at the service center since beginning of October. This Monday (October 23) I read on their support page online, that it is on its way back to me!

The support page says they have dismounted (right word?) the camera, checked and adjusted the CCD and autofocus. Hopefully, that means the "dead pixels" (if that's what it was) will be gone and the autofocus will work better now, when I get it back. I guess I'll have it back in a couple of days or so.

I'm excited to get it back!! I've missed it and want to take photos again. And I want to try the...I think you call it "lightbox" in English...that I've bought. I want to try to take photos of things using the lightbox. It's like a white "tent" in which you put the things you want to take photos of. Then, you put lamps on at least two sides of it and you get a good light inside on the thing you want to take photos of. This lightbox I bought, has four backgrounds of different colours that you can use. If I get it back in time, maybe I can try it for the PCT challenge about toys.

Hope you guys didn't fall asleep reading all this... If you did...

Wake up! This post is over now!
