    Canon A540 movies problem

My movies seem to download but I am unable to find them and run and view them with the supplied QuickTime. What is the poccess for doing this? Are there a detailed step by step instructions? User guide leaves something to be desired. Thanks

Can you find the movie files when you use Windows Explorer? If you double click on the icon, what happens?

    A540 movie

OK. I identified movie files and am able to play them on Windows Media Player. Maybe I should be satisfied but--camera user guide says I need Quick Time to play them. Have not got that one figured out yet. Can you help me with that one? thanks

It really doesn't matter which player you use to play the videos. Most will handle the different formats, and you can change which is the default by doing a <Right Mouse> click, choosing Open With... and selecting whichever player you want to be the default.

But as long as you are happy with the way Windows Media Player works there's no need to play them with the Quicktime Viewer.
