This was my first non kit lens and I really enjoyed the quality. When stopped to f4, it becomes pretty sharp. The range is useful, but not wide enough. Contrast is so-so not very contrasty, and correcting in photoshop doesn't looks as good as a good lens would. I would recommend the lens if you have a $100 budget. AF motor is a bit noisy and build quality is ok, the finish is nice, but feels cheap overall

So I have been looking at putting this Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8-4 DG on a Nikon D50 and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or could offer some advice.
