js797, nice pics, and I agree with you on Chrome colour. For a lot of subjects it's too funky looking for my taste, but for the photo of the building it's perfect.
tim, wonderful beach pics again! And what a stunning sunset. Makes me long for summer.

Nice shots Tim, I think I like the second one the best. 102f is just crazy hot. Do you guys get any humidity or does the ocean breeze keep that out?

Thanks Paul and JS797. Coincidentally, the girl in pink in the 2nd photo is my daughter.
Paul, I am not sure about humidity.... but in Australia it's hot and very dry. In fact, the bush here burns too well - once something starts to burn, everything willl burn. I agree 102F is crazy hot but it wasn't the worst. I remember 31 December 2005.... it was 114.8°F! The highest in my own living memory and all the plants literally scorched. Luckily, we don't have that very often.

Backyard safari
Nice beach shots Tim. I hope to do a weekend day at Sanibel Island soon to get some of my own beach shots (as soon as I'm done painting the house). Here's some macro expermention on some tree frogs on my house. (note: these guys are smaller than your thumbnail).

Welcome aboard Stever06. And thanks for your kind comment.
Those frogs are only thumb size? Are they fully grown at that size? Wow. I have never seen any frogs that small and I have seen many.

Tree frog info.
Thanks Tim. I have a drainage ditch in my front yard, and every year during the rainy season it fills up to about 40cm and stays that way for about 2 1/2 months because the ground is so saturated and the canals are over filled. This becomes a frog breeding ground 10m from my front door. These guys are fresh from tadpole stage ( notice the clearness of the belly skin of the second shot). They get about 5-6 cm full grown, but I've seen bigger depending on the species. These shots are of 2 different types. There are literally hundreds of them all over the house every September/ October. The yellow craggy back-ground is the stucco texture of my house.

Wow, Tim, those sunset shots are gorgeous! The silhouettes add so much to the pics.
