    Best free online photo sharing service for downloading full size pics

    I wish to post photos on the internet so that family and friends can not only view them, but also download them at the full size they were taken e.g. 3072x2304 pixels.

    Are there any free sites that allow this as I have been using Yahoo but when you try and save the photo it is only 480x360 pixels.

    The reason I want to do this is because I take loads of photos of my nephew, and his parents want to be able to have the full size copies saved to their computer. At the moment I always make a DVD and physically give it to them however I was hoping there was an easier way....

    If anyone has any advice for me I would really appreciate it!

    A basic account at flickr is free. Each photo must be less than 5 MB in size and be in JPEG format (TIFF files will automatically be converted into JPEG's). Will that be enough for you?

    Personally, I wouldn't put anything on the web that is more than 800x600 pixel for the following reason: upload and download time. Even with a broadband connection it will be as slow as a turtle. For folks who still have dial-up... forget it.
    www.photobucket.com allowed 1024 x 768 Pixels. You can sign for free, allowing 1GB.

    Yahoo photos recently upgraded and now offers full resolution storage and downloads for free. Try it.

    Why is this in the Software forum?
