whoa, i think #1's awesome. one thing that's got me wonderin in some of the pics in your posts (from other threads as well) is how you track something moving so fast off center. are the AF points towards the edges that strong on the 1dsIIn or are you using some special technique for those shots? i know i can only rely on the center AF on my camera for fast moving subjects. oh and i've been meaning to ask, is that 300 still fast to AF with either of the TC's on? probably is but just want to actually know instead of guessing. thanks
Yeah off-centre AF is pretty sound on the 1-series. The 300 slows down a bit with the 2x on for sure, but still reasonable enough in the right conditions.
