shutter dragging
Sometimes the shutter is set slow by the camera on indoor pics, even with the flash up. Its like it ignores the flash and keeps the shutter speed down to 1/30. This is on the P setting. What gives? This is a D50 Nikon, not quite a year old.

Thats why I like to shoot in Manual. I have complete control over shutter, aperture, and flash!

got it right!
Had the flash sync on slow for some reason. Think it was just an accidental adjustment, but it was slowed down, presumably to let it drink in ambient light, which warms things up sometimes. Anyway, readjusted it back to where I needed it. Just thought you'd like to know. It shoots ok now.
