Very nice pics, Netherworld. I recently took some with its predecessor and found them acceptable. http://gallery.leica-users.org/Imagine

I think b/c the camera is so small, it is more susceptible to camera shake and so the ratio of well focused, sharp "keepers" to the overall number taken is smaller than with my other digital camera. But then, nothing is as portable, right?

Exactly. The T3 is a little smaller and lighter than the T1 and can be difficult to hold still but I've had pretty good results so far. Those are nice shots you have there with your T1. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Netherworld, very nice pics. Is it possible for you to post some indoor shots--I know the DSC T1 had a weak flash so I was kinda curious. I'm torn between the T3 and the P150. Thanks

Thank you for your kind remarks. I have a indoor picture or two that I took over the weekend that I will post later for you. In my experience, the flash does fine for single or double subjects within a range of about 5-7 feet, but redeye often needs to be removed in post processing.

    Banker,

to be quite frank, the T1 is a very poor instrument for indoor use and, unfortuantely, i avoid using it in favor of other cameras with larger [aperture] lenses. it's a real shame, because the t-series would have been great to use for dinner parties and social gatherings. in well-lit indoor environments, it performs ok. but if you need the flash, shooting anything beyond 8 to 10 feet and you're looking an unevenly lit subjects with heavy noise. this isn't to say that other small digicams would prove better; such drawbacks are a bane of the ultra-compacts. so if i don't want to carry a larger camera for an evening social camera, i revert to a film camera with 400 asa film and a good fixed focal length lens: either the leica minilux or the contax t3.

btw, which bank are you working at? i work as in-house legal for a u.s. bank in asia.
