This is my 1st good digital camera. I had some crappy point shoot before. Took some pics of the tulip that's just blooming outside.

Take with S5 IS in Super Macro Mode. Fast shutter speeds (1/1000+), aperture @ f2.7, ISO80 (really bright outside).

Tell me what you think about these pics. Any good? BTW this camera is great!

Welcome to the forums Tester3000. Your first flower shot of the five was my favorite.

tester3000: Great tulips! The first one is gorgeous; great color and really nice detail with the water droplet balanced so neatly on the petal!

wolfbreath: Love the 'backlit' maple leaves and tree bark closeup. With the two forest shots; is the first one Vivid (or Vivid green), or is the second one toned down somehow? The green **really** pops in the first one (right to the point of "over the top" ).

It's been quite a while since I've posted any pictures on this thread, but you guys are inspiring me to get my S3 out and start snapping, again!

It's been sitting on top of my fridge for about 3 weeks with my Raynox DCR-1540PRO attached, as I've been hoping to catch some birds visiting my new bird feeders. So far, though, every time I've seen some interesting birds ... by the time I've gotten the camera down and the lens cap off, the birds are gone!

I think I'm going to just have to get out there!

Thanks. The last two pictures are actually from one image, just edited differently. I probably overdid the colors on the first one of the two.
