Lightbulb July 4th, 2006 Fireworks Photo Thread

Okay people, since I'm not doing a formal fireworks gallery this year, post your best fireworks photos here! The only requirement is that they were taken recently and haven't been significantly manipulated in Photoshop.

    Happy shooting!

    First attempts at fireworks

In my little town, they saved money by having the 4th of July carnival and fireworks on the 24th of June. Good thing too, because the 25th is when the flood came.
I have never tried this before, but I will post them anyways. If you have some suggestion for settings please feel free to help. Straight from camera just cropped.

I took these in St. Joe Michigan with a Canon Elan 7e. I used a 28-80mm lens.

    Fireworks at Kieler Woche Germany

    Hi Foto-Friends! :-)

I took these pictures last sunday in my home town Kiel, Germany, at the "Kiel Week", wich is known as the biggest sailing event in the world. It's the first time, that I shot fireworks. I hope you like the pictures.

If anybody is interested, I can send you higher resolution pictures.

    cheers

You must first upload your photos to an online server like Photobucket or other website, then use the [ IMG ] and [ /IMG ] tags here (but without the spaces) to enclose your photo url within your message. Alternately, just copy the photo url to your computer's clipboard, then click on the "mountain scene" icon on the "reply to thread" page then paste the url in the blank. The url must end with a ".jpg"

    For example,
    [ IMG]http://www2.gol.com/users/nhavens/resource/P8010037a1.jpg[/img]
    ^ (no space here)

Will cause this image to be displayed:
"...and only the stump, or fishy part of him remained."

    Wink Nope

Thanks to Norm in Fujino, but it does not seem to work. I tried different sizes on different servers. Maybe I'm just to blond.

Doesn't matter. It should not be to complicated to click on a link, right? ;-)

First off, hi everyone. I've been a frequent visitor to this site, but I didn't register for the forums until I saw the fireworks gallery thread.

I apologize for the link, rather than displaying the photo, but I thought I'd share this photo I took last year, overlooking Commencement Bay in Tacoma, Wash.
