compact with little lag?
My wife is looking for a compact camera, but we want little shutter lag. We like to take pictures of wildlife, and quickness is important. I have a Digital Rebel for that very reason. She wants somerthing she can keep in a pocket or purse, but is as quick as mine! Or close.
I had a Sony S85, but got rid of it due to slow shutter lag. So we're pretty ferm on that aspect. We do like the outdoors, but hers will also be for a bit of inside too.
5-6 megapixals, under $400, fairly compact, good opital zoom, view finder( if pos) & SD memory(as she had this in her last cam(Minolta DimageX)
Also looking at:
Kodak Z730
Fujifilm F30(no view finder)
Panasonic DMC-TZ1(no view finder)
Canon A700
Thanks

looking hard at the A700.
Anyone know about the lag?
Thanks

The Canon A's use the digic II processor which is fast. The A700 sounds like a good choice. The A610/A620 would be cheaper, but heavier and a bit less zoom.
