I was sure there was already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, this is Toronto's Bloor and Christie streets in the late afternoon. The sun through the trees was dramatic enough, but a huge mall window behind me gave me the fill flash of the gods.

Drew_viii, I really like the shot with the blue lights. It was taken at night, right? I've never taken night shots. I live in a rural area, so I'd need to go to the city No problem. Any hints for night shots?

thanks i like it too.. i think it should look better if i adjust in PS... i took that just right across london eye, there is like bunch of blue lights hanging around the trees i got one more here....
i took this one focusing one of the lights with a tripod.. i like the blinking effect of the light
hints? umm...i think the only hint is the get a descent tripod and take it with remote, actually i can take it better, its bit of out of focus or camera shake, guess ive took it using my finger to press the shutter, which causes camera shakes... so if ever you are taking night shots... especially sceneries, think you should increase the f-stop number to 8 or 11 or even more for better sharpness, and set it to aperture priority... then just put it on the tripod then take it i think i just got lucky with those shots
