Thanks Bynx for your kind comment.

In this shot the Lion seemed to be saying 'You still here!'

Here is a set of pictures I took when I was in the zoo with my family. I didn't know in advance that I we would be going to the zoo, so I didn't have my telelens with me. This limited me to the animals that were quite close. Also, it was rainy all day, so most animals were in there shelters.

I love #3, and unusual angle. Did you use your 17-70mm?

    Kangaroos...

    and wallabies.
    A rock wallaby.

    Native Aussie favourite past time.

    A sleeping red kangaroo.

I have no idea why this kangaroo had to sit there hanging on to his dear tail.

No, I didn't use the 17-70. For the first three I used the 135 f/2.8 AI-s and for the last three I used the 50 f/1.8. The fish were lit very dimly, so I needed the 50 and ISO 1600 to get the shots.

Tim, nice shots of the kangaroes.

Far2000, I really like the second one. It looks dreamy--or nightmarish!

I'd say nightmarish. Should do some more PP to add more effect.
