Putting pics on computer

I have a casio Z500 and want to put the pics on my laptop so I,ve tried to install the programs off the disk that I got with the camera but one of the programs (the most important one that transfers the pics from the camera to the laptop) will not install because you need windows 98 and i have windows xp. What can I do? As you can probably tell Im not very clued up on computers

Use an inexpensive SD clip reader. It will cost about $10.
