How to "uncorrupt files"
Does anyone have any experience with corrupted files?
While on holidays I used an internet cafe to burn RAW files onto DVD once my CF cards were all filled up.
Only when I returned home did I discover that one of the two folders on one of the two DVDs (containing the RAW files from a 2 gig SanDisk CF) had somehow been corrupted.
I've tried opening these files in every program I could think of (Bridge, Photoshop, Preview, Canon Software, I-Photo, Adobe DNG Converter), and also on a PC as well as my Mac, and nothing will recognise them.
Since burning the DVD the CF has been erased and refilled a couple of times, so the files only exist now on the DVD.
Does anyone know how I might be able to save these files - of course they're the best shots from the trip!
