Powershot G6 People shots allways blurred
I bought the G6 1 month ago - the Landscape, City, Nightshots of city are GREAT ! close to no noise at all..... but.....
I could never manage to have clear and sharp photos of people !!!
I tried all modes, shutter priority with 1/400 sec and flash... everything !
beside the fact, that the AF system works very poor in low light conditions - even with manual focus i could never make sharp shots of people.
Am i the only one to have this problem ???
I saw several G6 photo-galleries and they loocked all a little soft.
Got also Sony DSC P150 - which produces supersharp shots but little more noisy.
Damaged Cam or general problem ???

A sample picture would really help us diagnose...

strange my G6 is spot on with portraits.
The G6 cant use a shutter speed of 1/400th with the flash BTW, the maximum sync speed is 1/250th.

...
I've read somewhere that changing to fixed central focusing point may help (while shooting portrait)
Some say that's a problem with 9 piont AiAf.
I belive it wont make you happy, but may help anyway

I take most of my photos on P (program) mode which uses single point AF, maybe mikos is on to something with the 9 point AF

Flash or Night indoor shots
Ok Alnath - i see. Blind one i am.
Couldn't find any indoor - low light or flash shots.
Then we can compare !
Outdoors at daytime it was allways much sharper

If i was taking a portrait indoors i would want more then the G6's built in flash.
