I've got my 20D! What else do I need?

Hi, i'm new to the forums. I am shooting my second wedding in Feb. 2006 and I am going to be investing in some equipment to do it right. I did my first wedding (which turned out to be rather decent) with my canon 20D and the speedlight 580ex that goes with it. I don't have a bracket or any special lenses or diffusers. What I want to know is...what is VITAL for me to have that will make my photos better and the customer pleased. Thanks.

    There he goes again . . .

CDI can be very detailed sometimes. We have gotten on to him about his "Essays" he writes and have asked him to simpify things for everyones benefit. . . Apparently it hasn't worked. . .

Thats a little too much information at once to take in CDI - come on man!

Well, what lens/lenses did you use for your first wedding. You mentioned the 20D and the 580EX. . . I know you had to have a lens . . .

    Tons of storage

Outside of a small suitcase of storage media...

Good primes, 85 1.8 is nice, 85 1.2 L is nicer but more expensive, 50 1.4L is great.

I'd love a 24-105 F4L IS personally jsut for the versitility and IS.

I'd love to see Canon make a lens like that.

Same here. Once they fix the flare problem and drop the price down to a more reasonable $800-$900, it'll truly sell like hotcakes.

more lenses with faster max apertures, more skill perhaps, and learning how to manually expose an image with flash. I got the best images at my wedding in low light while using fast apertures and fill flash. I was dragging the shutter to minimize flash look and get ambient light in the pic too.

    Nikon D700/D300|17-35 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, Sigmalux, 80-200 f/2.8, 16 f/2.8 fisheye,

Lots of flashes and Honl gear.
