    Lens Adapter for FZ5

    4 simple questions.

First: with the Lens adapter, can i use it without the hood?

Second: can i leave the lens adapter (if without the hood) on all the time?

Third: would filters like this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/PANASONIC-FZ30-F...QQcmdZViewItem

Fourth: Ive heard things with SD cards slowing down. If I bought a 60x ADATA 512MB SD card, how could i prevent it from slowing down?

You don't need the hood itself, but you do need the adapter that come with the camera to use the filter. You can use the hood with the filter on.

You can leave the adapter on all the time. I haven't taken it off ever since I put it on. I even bought a bag big enough to acommodate the camera with the adapter on.

I recommend you check out this thread, http://www.dcresource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13408.

Its difficult to say... if they are 55mm filters they will fit.
But I do not see that stated anywhere.
I would like filters that are coated with at least 1 coating

Format the card every once in a while...some people do it every time they transfer photos to the computer.
Also I do not believe writing from the computer to the card is a good idea.
But that is only my opinion.

That link to the eBay seller for 3 filters seems to have an awfully low price for supposedly high-quality optics. Three filters (UV, polarizing, fluroescent) for $16.95? Wow!

I wonder if this guy is really selling high-quality filters? Seems too good to be true!
