A few new FZ20 sample images

I've posted a few new pictures from my FZ20 over on my web site.

I laughed when I saw today's Digital Photo Of The Day over at Steve's Digicam's, because it's basically the same thing as one of the photos I took over the weekend.

    The winner at Steve's Digicams:

Photographed by Carol Daughenbaugh with a Nikon 990

    The one I took yesterday:

My photo, taken with a DMC-FZ20

Same type of flower, I do believe. I like the water drops on the winning shot, but I like the color of my flower better, and the leaves in the background are nicer in mine, I think. What do you think?

Jim maybe it is the difference in our monitors but here is your photo desaturated a bit. I hope that is OK

    Thumbs up

    Jim,
Thanks for the pics. Maybe it should be desaturated a bit because the original was bright enough that it was hurting my eyes.

Smile You made me feel better, thanks Jim

Thanks for posting the photos and info on your web site.

I have never spent more than $200 on a camera so as was ordering my FZ20 today (even after having every one tell me how good it was) there was still a little voice in my head asking "what the heck are you doing".

The proof is in the pictures! They all look great!

This entire forum has been great! I know a lot of the members must laugh at some of the questions I asked but I would never have even considered the FZ20 if it had not been pointed out to me. I have learned more in a few weeks of reading and following posts than I could have learned in a year of reading reviews.

I should have my camera in 3 or 4 days .... can't wait.

    Thanks again .... Mike

I've got a Spider to match your Hibiscus...

Just got back from Kauai; right in a Hibiscus bush, a "Golden Orb" spider had set up his website:

When you see one of these things, you'd swear he has a golden brooch on his back, but on closer inspection, it merely looks like a yellow mask. Taken with "old" FZ10 and Nikon 6T closeup lens.
    Let a be your umbrella!
