    Equivalent to KM Dimage Z3?

Is there a camera more or less equivalent to the Z3? I like just about everything about the Z3, except the fact that the LCD doesn't fold out or turn at all.

    Thanks for all tips!

Perhaps the Panasonic FZ3 will do nicely

I really don't want to go lower i resolution though. I've been looking as the Nikon Coolpix 8800, but decided I can't make use of 8mp, but 4 is about as low as I want to go.

Maybe the Panasonic FZ15 or FZ20 are worth a look at for you. None of them have a fold out LCD as far as I know in the long shot except for the Canon S1 IS.

Are the panasonics any good? I get the impression that panasonic really isn't a camera manufacturer.

I've also looked at the Nikon Coolpix 5700, but it feels kind of silly to buy an old camera, just because I want on with less resolution...

    Reliability

Last time Consumer Reports looked at digital cameras for reliability, Panasonic was third most reliable (behind Sony and Cannon).
