Yeah....I started to get carried away with the HDRs. I'm taking a break on those.

Here's a well known one - taken early evening 4th Nov 2011
only had my P&S Panny with me - but it made it look OK
(Just cropped some water off the bottom)

Can look good - I only got one pic - but the Panny was pushed to it's limit really
- needed a DSLR

Not too shabby at all Geoff, I really like the blue sky with the evening lights.

Thanks Phil - it all depends on the time the pic was taken I guess.
One I took in 2004 on my old Oly 740 UZ was great - but it was
the exact moment the light (or lack of it) was at it's best fro the photo

I like it a lot more at night Geoff. There's definitely a point after sunset where the ambient light and artificial light mix beautifully.
