Bridge and question.
How (why) hoarfrost on bearer of the bridge was formed?

Nice picture, Kushnirenko. I think I have a possible explanation for the hoarfrost. If a train that drive on Diesel or even Steam drives under the bridge it will release both water vapour and carbon dioxide. The water vapour will condense against the sides of the bridge, i.e. the bearers, and when the temperatures are below zero (which, judging from practically all your pictures you have posted in the last week, they are) the condensed water will later freeze causing the hoarfroast.
I could be wrong about this, though. Perhaps the real explanation is a lot easier than this.

Thank, Prospero
All is little bit easier. It was very cold. Up to-30 on Celsius. Has now become warmer (near 0) and very damp air. But on the cooled down cold columns the moisture settles as hoarfrost.

That is indeed a lot easier an explanation. I was being too far fetched. I didn't expect it to be that warm already in Kharkiv after seeing your pictures of thick layers of snow last week .

In Kharkiv very changeable weather. Yesterday there was a rain, today already a snowfall. Kharkiv, Ukraine. Fuji FinePix S9500. Feb, 23, 2006

This is another bridge in the Asheville, North Carolina area. The first time I was by here the gate on the bridge was closed and I had left my camera home.
