EX-Z750 - Can't edit my Videos !!! WTF ?
My Casio EX-Z750 (that was NOT cheap) automatically records its video using the M4S2 codec - one which the vast majority of video programs cannot import or edit. I have yet to find a program that can import, edit, and export in this codec.
Does anyone know where I can get an M4S2 Encoder ?

Program/Encoder for EX-Z750
Hi,
I saw your post on Digital Camera Resource Page. Have you found a a video editor or codec/encoder that works with Casio EX-Z750 ?
Maybe your problem is the same as mine. My machine has the proper M4S2 decoder required for EX-Z750 videos, that means that I am able to see and even load the clips into an editor. The problem is that I don't have a M4S2 encoder. This means that whatever editor I use is not able to to save the edited movie in its native format, meaning that it has to resample all clips. This takes a long time to do and degrades quality. With the proper encoder that would not be necesary as all the videos are in the same format.
Thanks
Jesus

No editor
I think that ulead editor does mpeg m4s2 but it only has one video time line.
It seems to me that vegas does not cope but I am not sure.

About the Encoder for Casio EX-Z750
Hi! everybody
I have a Casio EX-Z750 camera too, and I want to edit the video, I try the virtualDub (to edit the .avi files you can get it from http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/), aFreeCodec (http://www.afreecodec.com/) to analize the .avi files and help you to download the correct encoders or codecs to play the video files, but I have troubles when I encoder the files. I analize yet what happen. A codec that conteins the M4S2 coder/decoder is the Combined Community Codec Pack
2006-05-01 (you get it from http://combined-community-codec-pack....com/ie/48357). Can you help me to make test to find the correct configuration with the encoder.
