At the risk of invoking Lukas's wrath ...
I bet these images would be gorgeous in color!

lol (first time I ever said that, having just seen the best shot 2008 thread...) Yes, it is kinda heart breaking to take a nice color photo and reduce it to B&W, but that was the requirement of the class. So far I haven't had time to reprocess all of them in color. See my commentary in the best shot thread.

Great images Phil !!
What stitching program do you use? - I seem to have lost any decent stitching ability - Autostitch doesn't seem to work so well - & my wifes
Canon stitch is a bit rough
Raven 15 - I like these images - and somehow not stitched together is OK

That's a pretty cool idea and a nice way to see where you've been throughout the year. However, some of them look like they got hit with too much "darken highlights" or "lighten shadows".

Here's 2 panoramas from my first attempt at doing these..#1 is Flagstaff lake in Maine with the Bigelow Mountains in the distance and #2 is overlooking Rangely Lake, also in Maine.

Here's a few panorama shots I made, all of them were made with a Lumix DMC-TZ5... Critique is welcome, it's all about progression right...

Nice stuff there thombo. Beautiful mountain ranges. That first one could use a contrast bump though.

Dante's View @ Death Valley. The polarizer spoiled it a little bit in the middle but I guess this could be corrected by some photo-editor...

Here it is Geoff - not lost at all & still worth a look.
Around every picture there's a corner & round every corner there's a picture
- the fun's in finding them
