I'm in Esquimalt. That pic is from the end of Lampson road, at Saks point. We were thinking of making this our wedding location. That would make for some amazing pictures
I really close friend of the family had their wedding at sax point a few years back. It was a beautiful spot. The aisle was lined with rose peddals (a very calm day). Great spot for a weding.
I went back to photo the cliffs I shot in post #457: http://www.dcresource.com/forums/sho...&postcount=457
To give some sense of size: those rectangles at the bottom of the cliffs are semi-trucks pulling trailers!
I took a different road, lower, and kept to the right in the shot (although maybe not far enough right ...) The lower POV
eliminates the round hills above the cliffs. Do you think they would have enhanced the shot?
I used Panorama Capture to stitch it, and was very pleased. It has a free trial without a watermark, and it stitches quickly at full size.
This was originally 8 images, although I cropped out about 3 on the right. I spent a lot of time trying different PP versions of the shot,
making the shadows lighter, or not. What do you think? Comments always appreciated!
