They just keep getting better. This one is the best yet. The effect is even more pronounced then in the other shots and hence much more spectacular. Great job.

Wow. That's a beautiful shot. I like the pale colors. Enhances the "Victorian" look. (although that might be the wrong label ... refers to England, not Ukraine... ) um, reminds me of the early 1900s period
This was San Francisco late yesterday afternoon. I braved the mass of tourists at the top of Twin Peaks. That's the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin on the left, Alcatraz and Angel Island in the middle, and the Berkeley and Oakland hiils in the background on the right. I had to do a fair bit of post-processing, and I still think the sky is a little washed out. Would a polarizing filter have helped with that?

That's a great panorama! How many shots was it? I really like how you showed how big the area is!
The left side of the shot seems underexposed (at least on my monitor) while the right seems overexposed.
I'm definitely no pro at panos! But I wonder if you could PP them separately, once the photos were stitched.
The blacks look overdone on the left, and I wish I could see more detail on the right.
But what an awesome first panorama. Looking forward to more
I'm from Victoria too. Well now I'm in Taiwan but my family is still there. Where abouts in Vic do you live?
I'm in Esquimalt. That pic is from the end of Lampson road, at Saks point. We were thinking of making this our wedding location. That would make for some amazing pictures

Thanks! That was 5 shots with a 50mm 1.8 prime. I just got my new Sigma 18-50, so I can do landscapes at a slightly wider angle. I bit off too much on my first attempt. I shoulda tried just 2 or 3.
The exposure was very different on them, I had to do a lot of PP onthem to get the sky to blend well enough. Now I know to keep the exposure more constant across shots. And yes, the left is too dark, but I wanted the Golden Gate Bridge in there. And the right is overexposed, but my house is somewhere down there!
I'm gonna go out this weekend. I'm very lucky to live within such a beautiful landscape! And I've got some ideas for some vertical panoramas, as well as some evening shots. I'll post 'em that deserve it.
Thanks again for the praise--the encouragement means a lot.
