Awesome panorama, Kushnirenko !! It's really an unusual perspective on an airplane. Well done.

Here's a panorama of Anso, a small village in Northern Spain:

How much of an overlap do you guys use... my brother says in the army they use a 1/3 overlap I believe and that cuts down on the amount of distortion from the edges

    PTGUI issues

Hey everyone. This is an extremely inspiring thread with all the great panoramas. I have a few that Im working on. But i am getting some very strange results from PTGUI. in a 3 picture panorama it will reall excessively stretch the outside images on on a Rectilinear panorama. is there any way to minimize the amount it stretches? b/c by the stitch the warping is totally fine but than it just stretches way too far. Any help is greatly appreciated.

thnx for the speedy response. i appreciate it. here are the 3 jpgs in order from left to right.

I've tried Cyndrilical and Spherical modes in PTGui and i prefer the straight angles of Rectilinear Panorama
