Nice panoramas. You're right, in this case the spherical one clearly is better. With the panorama on the previous page, I think I prefer the rectalinear one.
Here's one I made last summer of a marble mine in Carrara:

Have you tried to export it as a quicktime panorama .mov file? If you do that it will be really great. It will be almost as if your actually there (though there's no movement at all).
Here's one I took in Rome last year. It shows the forum of Traianus, a Roman emperor. Perhaps I should have added an extra row to show more of the forum itself, but because of a lack of memory cards (I had only 640 mb of Xd-cards with me on which I shot a total of about 700 pictures during that week) I decided against it. I'm glad, because I saw so many other beautiful places that week, that I really needed the memory space.
