I visited a small town in Ecuador this summer and recorded this 8-image panorama from the hills. The attached picture is a low-res version. Click here for the full version. Enjoy!

Dustin - really liked your wide panorama.
    Have you got any others?

    Geoff,

As of now, I haven't really harnessed the appeal of panoramas and photo stitching in my everday shooting. The only place I do consistent panoramas is at work. Some clients need digital color projections of their properties and panoramas come in really handy, especially in long shopping centers. From the little I've done as a hobby though, I really enjoy the look they give.

Just looking for different subjects for a pano. It lost quite a bit when I resized it for posting.

Here is my company provided apartment. Generic rental furniture. Pictures and stuff go with me from place to place.

    Dustin - that's different - and indoor pano ~ I like it!
American nomad. Good on eof the gold course - I guess you have to be carefull not to duplicate the same person (like in the Mall shot).

Yes, I was getting rather frustrated with this one. This is a practice green with more than one hole. When I setup here there was only one person on the green. Then, from over the hill came this group of kids that are seen on the left. For the most part they stayed on the left side of the green but one of them just had to run around trying every hole and then not even shooting properly so that I might be able to use him in the shot. He was on the ground shooting pool que style! HA! Well with patience I finally got the shots I needed and I thought it came out OK. This post was longer than I thought it would be!

this is rather an unuusal panorama...come to think of it, isn't a panorama at all...just a super super wide angle view relicated using six frames merged together with software...has anyone used PTGui? it is amazing, especially version 5

Nice shot - and welcome to this thread, I haven't spotted you before - so consider your hand firmly shaken.
How did you join the pics - did you use Olympus's in camera stitching or do it yourself??
