    Panoramas

I don't generally do Panoramas much - but here's one from La Rochelle,
hopefully you guys reading this thread will add some of your Pano's

That's beautiful Geoff. I took one from my balcony of the entire downtown "skyline" so it's super wide...I think it was 3 18mm shots stitched together and a lot of editing to make the seams disappear. All in all, I'm happy with it but it doesn't have the clarity of your panorama.

    very cool shots guys!

Here's my first attempt at one of these shots, taken off my balcony of Downtown Toronto. I used 3 photos.

Brilliant guys - thanks for responding so quickly!
I really haven't got much else just now on this - but please keep yours all
    coming in
    - and I am fascinated about the splicing together - I have
only tried it briefly and found it hard work!
I know my Oly is supposed to do it for me - but I haven't tried.
The La Rochel shot was a bigger picture cropped top and bottom.
I did one of kids in a school concert - joined up two together and had to
fiddle quite a bit as some had moved a bit - it worked out but took ages!

I'm sure this will be a start to another great thread. I found it fun to do and now have more creative ideas

Geoff, the program "photostitch" that came with my XT does a pretty good job stitching images together with little effort. I'm not sure if there is one available for your camera.

I visited a small town in Ecuador this summer and recorded this 8-image panorama from the hills. The attached picture is a low-res version. Click here for the full version. Enjoy!
