I wondered if any one can offer any advice on a very annoying problem I have with my digital Camera. I have been very pleased with the purchase of my Kodak DX 6340 an in general have not regretted investing in the camera. However on occasion it has crashed and I have lost all the photos taken on the SD card, but it has never crashed whilst using the internal memory.

When it does crash I cannot even format the Sd card by using the camera, I have had to take it to my Brother in Law for him the do it on his card reader, and then I am able to use the card again.

Does this sound like a problem with the camera or a problem with the SD card?

I have ordered another sd card, but we are going on holiday soon and I dread taking all our holiday photos and then it crashing again. Any advice would be most appreciated.
