Printing problem
I have a Nikon Coolpix 3700 and am experiencing problems with images which I have had printed at two different photo centres.
Images viewed through the camera monitor or printed on my printer at home are perfect but when printed at the Photo Centres the line up of the print cuts of the top and bottom of the print ie removing heads !!
I discussed the problem with both Centres both of whom have no explanation and both state that the probelm is with my camera.
Can anybody advise if it is a setting problem or a fault ?
Thanks
Dave

I'm thinking that it could be a problem with "aspect ratio". That is, your camera is using a different ratio than the prints. The fix would be to crop your images to the correct size for print before taking them to be printed. That way you'll ensure that you'll get exactly what you want.
Here's an article I found for you that might explain things a bit more. And this is something we all deal with as the images that come out of the camera have to be cropped somewhat in order to be printed on standard print sizes. Just need to use your handy-dandy photo editor to do the trick for you (ie photoshop or whatever).
Here's that link:

Hope that helps.

Yes I agree with nwpoland, I think it could be a problem with "aspect ratio".

Just came across this thread on this forum that deals more with this aspect ratio bit...actually it's from one of Gary's tips and tricks
