    Kennicott Mine Ore Concentration Building

Around 10PM the sun dipped just below the mountains in Wrangell-St. Elias. Enough to flash a little color on the peaks behind the ore concentration building.

I pass by this old barn every few weeks up in north Georgia. The light was good today; too bad my eyes were not. I was tired and did not notice that I had the XZ1 set to ISO1000. A little smudgy and I couldn't figure out why I was not able to get the sky under control. Seems it was due to wide open aperture and not having 1/8000th shutter speed at that ISO - duh.

Oh well, it's still a very interesting building. Maybe you can show us a better shot after your next trip to that neck of the woods.

I was just fiddling around with split toning in LR3 and thought I'd share the result. This is from the same outing as my recent SF panorama

Went into London for an evening for part of a Birthday treat
Only took my point and shoot - but got a few shots...

That's a very unusual view of London Geoff. I don't get there very often but I don't recognise those buildings at all where is the shot taken?

Nice night shot as usual Lukas. Too bad that the foreground is a rather dull neighborhood. It would be great if that overlooked more of the brightly signed North Beach/little Italy area. I used my detective powers and Google maps to divine that was taken from Calhoun Terrace. I was a few blocks over while walking to Coit Tower on Saturday.
