That's a great shot Geoff. Maybe I'm a bit odd but there is just something about chimneys. That smaller twisted brick one on the right looks especially interesting. Maybe a chimney thread or is that too weird?

Another day/night at Griffith observatory.
The astronomers monument with statues of 6 famous scientists.
Scale model of the orbits of the planets are inscribed on the ground. Former-planet Pluto is out past the monument. The plaque is a scale drawing of the observatory grounds and orbits and is located between Mars and Jupiter.
A dome on each end contains telescopes. The central dome is the roof over the auditorium.
Here is one telescope.
Some old copper trim, and moon. The observatory was built in the 1930's.
Rungs to the top of the dome.
Twilight.
