    Seen better days

Exposure was difficult here - might try an hdr with some of the other failures to see if something comes out.

This took less than a minute in Photoshop. It brings out the details without affecting that nice sunbeam shining through. I also darkened the sky to look a bit more dramatic.

    Phew what a difference

Hey Bynx how did you do that? what a tremendous difference. I took several shots at different exposures & didn't get anything that looked as good as that.

Phil, I took your photo and used Highlight/Shadow in Photoshop CS. This is an amazing feature which brings out the details in shadow areas and does the same with highlight area also at the same time. I then gave a bit of unsharp mask and that was it. I love that sunbeam shining through the window. Next time you find yourself in that situation take shots with different exposures from underexposed to overexposed. These are then put together in Photomatix to give you an incredible image that no single exposure can give you. Let me know if you want it and I can email it to you.
