This is the Pearl in Reykjavik - the bottom section is 4 large water tanks which are used to supply the capital with water - the dome houses The Saga museum and a restarent and shop amongst other things.
This shot was taken from the Hallgrimskirkja church on 300mm (450mm equiv) - sorry it was a touch hazy and quite a long way off
Thanks Viky
Unreal?? Well it all depends on what you percieve as real ~
But it looks plausable - I didn't see the orig, and it looks great
how you presented it
This is the WigWam Motel, on Foothill Blvd in Rialto, California. Foothill Blvd is part of the old historic "Route 66" that extends from Chicago to the Pacific Ocean west of Los Angeles.
The wigwams are made of cement and other material.
Another "Route 66" historical building is the original McDonald's on "E" St at 14th St in San Bernardino, California. It is now a McDonald's/Route 66 museum.
I took this at the top of the resort Alpine Meadows. It was pretty effing cold up there. The winds got up to thirty to fourty mph up there. If you look closely you can see the snow being blown across the camera.
