I can only get a quote at the start by hitting the quote button

Just for a change - the other side of the water from me
back in march I visited the west coast with my Son Jack & his school.
There are so many obvious buildings I could show - but here's one
that caught my eye as we passed in the coach.....(Vegas)

I just manually type the quote commands: [ quote ] [ /quote ] (take out the spaces).

All you have ot do is copy and paste the quote where you want, or write the code yourself:
The code for a quote is (without - between the first Q and U)
[Q-UOTE=User's Name] your text goes here [/Quote]

If I remove that - between the Q and U this is what it looks like

This one is the Regency Tower in Dallas. You can see almost the whole city from above.
