Sure everywhere has its messy areas. We've had more than a few over the last 30+years this side of the Irish sea. I don't have a picture of the Battersea power station here. It's untidy, a bit on the old side, a bit ugly (is this me I'm describing...?) - but is IS truly majestic looking. It's near you - so next time you pass by - take a pic and post it here.

This was taken from the appartment we rented framed by the window & using flash to light the room.
The appartment was lovely bye the way, very clean, right next to the castle and the owners were lovely, couldn't have been more helpful (I've no connection so this is unbiased we just had a lovely weekend in a brilliant city).

Last one, one night the fog came down & this gave a slightly painting like quality to the scene. All these shots are straight out of the camera no post processing at all. I just cropped the window one to centre it a bit better.
