I could agree with you george. I took the pic quite late in the evening and didn't do any software editing on it.

Wow. Jumps right off of the screen. We don't seem to see new art-adverts like that in this country anymore.

George, is that an invitation? It's a nice building shot, so I took a shot at it; hope you don't mind.

I'm not that experienced as using on-the-fly USM, so I don't know how this works. A tad oversharpened?

That's nice. Here you can sometimes see this sort of ad, badly faded on the gable-end walls of old buildings down in the older parts of Belfast. Nothing as vibrant as this, though. Most of the more contemporary wall painting in certain parts of Belfast tends not to be advertising - but glorification of the local paramilitary/terrorist organisation.

Their wall murals might make an interesting thread for those of you who live in a society that isn't quite as abnormal as this one has been in recent years...

Damn Cj! I remember standing there watching you take this photo and thinking that it had no potential, so I didn't even take any . I couldn't have been more wrong. Great shot.

I think there is some sort of abnormality everywhere in the world, just depends on the individual's interpretation of the word...

How about a Graffitti thread, I have seen an enormous amount of talent on the side of railcars, tressels and buildings. If some of these people could focus that energy in the right direction, I'm sure there would be a few with a very bright future in the art world. I think it would be nice to see some Graffitti from all parts of the world to compare it's content. (In good taste of course)...

I agree it would be interesting, but I don't think it belongs in this thread. Why not let's start another one? How's this?:

The Oriental Pearl TV tower and the Pudong district, Shanghai, PRC. Finally, it took me seven years to get back here and take a load of pictures along the Bund and across the river to this magnificent building.
